The spider
… and so it was well known that there never was any fear in this pianist.
She played hard and relentlessly powerfully. She could break bass strings while playing with hand injuries.
Rickety old pianos with sticking keys were no problem as she so masterfully adjusted her play and key signatures to avoid bad keys. This fearless woman called Vika was Queen of Queen’s most difficult pieces….. but…
But one day when she was playing a sweet child’s nursery rhyme …
“Little Inky Dinky Spider” …
and a spider came crawling out of her piano …
She was frozen with a fear so debilitating she couldn’t move.
